Nefertiti is a moderate sized and vintage style

 bag inspired by the doctor bags or maybe, Mary Poppins
bags of those days.
This bag features two carry straps installed in a unique way on the front and back of the bag with an optional adjustable and detachable shoulder strap attached to the side D-rings. Nefertiti closes with a top band, secured with two magnetic snaps on both sides and a turn lock in the center. For better interior organisation, you can add a pleated double slip pocket of which you will find instructions for making it in the pattern.
You can interpret this pattern in any way you want, according to your style, creativity and fabric combination.
In this pattern, you will also find instructions on how to make the second style of the bag for the exterior front and back. This version allows you to play with a third contrast fabric for the strap connectors, bottom contrast layer and handles.
This is an intermediate level project as it consists of sewing around curves for the gussets but it is still relatively a simple make
